Well, what can we say about saying bye-bye to 2020 and hello to 2021? From a pandemic perspective – not much change on the lockdown front – but the vaccine rollout is speeding up so the light at the end of the tunnel seems to be coming into view at last.
Speaking to most people it was a quiet, calm Christmas, and most got a break and some downtime. If not to get out and about or away, but being able to appreciate the small things, seemed to be a good theme that remained consistent.
Here at BT&S – it wasn’t quiet, and it wasn’t much in the way of downtime as we remained busy and active with new roles still rolling in pre, during, and post-Christmas. We started the new year with a huge momentum, which hasn’t abated, so hopefully, this is a sign that the green shoots of economic recovery are out there, as our clients certainly aren’t being shy about recruiting.
On the home front, we have 2 new additions to the BT&S family – Ruby & Max, the adorable Cavapoos, and watch this space – we have a new consultant coming on board by the end of this quarter (our 2nd recruit to be onboarded in lockdown!!). We are overly excited about all 3 joining our ranks.
We have banked our month-end and milestone parties for the moment – and are looking forward to getting out and having a blast when we can, as we are sticking with our ‘have fun’ philosophy, albeit our month-end and birthday drinks have been via Teams in recent times.
