Well, it is the end of January already and my goodness me, how quick has the month gone by! December is historically a quiet month in recruitment but not here at BT&S, December saw our second year of crazy activity and January has flown by for this very reason. With the scare of Omicron and the unknown impact it would cause, our clients (like so many) put their heads down, cancelled their Christmas party plans and subsequently kept us incredibly busy with their recruitment requirements and for this we are humbly grateful.
As a team we enjoyed a relaxed and cosy Christmas with our families, and some of us even managed to get away for some festive fun a bit further afield! (Lucky Claire!) Not that we are envious of course!
This time last year we were in our second or maybe third UK lockdown. We were all working from home and a large proportion of us, including myself were doing the dreaded home schooling. Oh, thank goodness for the vaccine roll out! And for how far we have come in 12 months!
So, as we continue at this pace into 2022, our third business year, we feel extremely optimistic about what the year will bring.
Spring is getting closer by the day, the days are getting longer again and although we have had some very cold days in January, we have also had some lovely sunny days! Come on Spring, get sprung!
