Well, it finally happened after months of planning…. In February, Bayman Topping and Smythe merged with Atkinson Resourcing Ltd to form Bayman Atkinson Smythe. Many of our candidates, clients and suppliers have asked why we chose to merge and what this means for them. It was not a decision taken lightly, by either party, but if the last few weeks have shown us anything, it’s definitely been the right decision and we are excited about the future for the new business. It’s been a crazy few months which has seen both companies achieve record quarterly sales and profit, new candidates and clients being introduced to us, at the same time as having to put all the necessary back-office admin in place for the new company. Claire and Jane have been working tirelessly to make sure there was a smooth transition for our temporary workers.
I am so glad I’ve joined a business with such talented staff with exceptional recruitment knowledge, who take a pride in what they do and enjoy themselves along the way. The past few weeks has highlighted our competitive advantages:

February and March have flown by, with both old and new clients giving us work and candidates getting access to more finance roles in a variety of different sectors. I even managed a sneaky holiday with the kids and our Vizsla pup only 2 weeks into the merger, which I am very grateful for, the rest of the team providing cover so soon into our new working relationship.
We are now busy hunting for offices, on the lookout for more talented recruiters and excited about the year ahead.
