An update from Mel...

It has been nearly six months now since I started working at BAS Recruitment, I must be enjoying myself, working with these lovely people, as I cannot believe how fast the time has gone since I started.

They have taught me so much and I didn’t realise or appreciate how much work goes into being a Recruitment Consultant.  In the beginning, it was a whirlwind but now I am settled, and I feel more confident in my work.  I am getting a lot of varied jobs to do and still learning new things, so yes, they are keeping me busy. The hardest part for me was not coming from a recruitment background and so the terminology was a lot to remember in the beginning, but now it already seems like second nature!

And it doesn’t stop there. I love the work they do, supporting their Charities – North West Air Ambulance, Alzheimers Society, Springhill Hospice and Vasculitis.  As well as volunteering,  I was lucky to participate on the Team Charity Day at the ‘Society for Abandoned Animals’ this summer.  It was a lovely day, and it was good to see where all the charity donations go.  When we had all done the hard work, we could spend time with some of the animals which was just as rewarding.

I was recently reading my last blog, which was three months ago, and I still share the same sentiments,  I love working with my fantastic colleagues, they are so passionate and professional in every way, what a fabulous team we make.
