Our client, a small independent firm of accountants is looking for a Permanent Accounts Assistant on a Part-Time basis.
The role is based in Rochdale and can be flexible across 14-21 hours per week, with hybrid office/WFH options once trained up.
The Job
You will be undertaking bookkeeping tasks using Quickbooks, including:
- Requesting, reviewing, and collating client records for Self-Assessments
- Managing the client onboarding process
- Entering supplier invoices & bank transactions
- Reconciling bank and credit card accounts
- Reviewing key reports - Aged Payables, Aged Receivables, Profit & Loss by month
- Preparation of VAT Returns
- Liaising with clients
- Dealing with HMRC correspondence and queries and ensuring deadlines are met
The Person
- You will have basic bookkeeping experience or be a minimum of AAT Level 2
- You must have a working knowledge of Excel and be comfortable with finance systems (or willing to train)
