Our client is a service company based in Manchester, and we are seeing to fill the position of Assistant Management Accountant. Reporting into the Financial Accounting Manager you will prepare monthly accounts, provide financial analysis and undertake ad-hoc tasks. This is a hybrid role with both office and home working (4 days in the office and 1 day working from home each week).
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly revenue reconciliations
- Perform monthly cost reviews
- Ensuring that costs are correctly accounted for and prepaid or accrued as required
- Update the fixed asset register with monthly capital expenditure additions and post depreciation
- Update the bank balances for the UK Group
- Update the actual cash flow
- Assist with the annual external audit
- Prepare monthly sales commission calculations
The successful candidate will:
- Strong Excel skills
- Good communication skills
- Be able to work to tight deadlines
- Has worked in an environment that is fast paced and evolving
