Finance and Administration Assistant - Paying up to £30k + Hybrid Working

THE JOB

Processing data entry on the accounting system, including entering purchase invoices and updating payment information for both suppliers and customers

Managing incoming emails and answering customer finance queries via helpdesk

Issuing invoices and statements electronically, and updating customer accounts with payments received

Processing sales orders and raising the relevant invoices in a timely manner

Providing weekly reports on sales and purchases to support financial review processes

Supporting the finance team with ad-hoc projects and undertaking general administrative duties to help the company run smoothly

Answering the telephone and managing incoming communications effectively

Maintaining accurate customer details within company systems and ensuring data integrity
THE PERSON
What we're looking for in a successful candidate:

Reliability, punctuality, and excellent organisational skills

Ability to work proactively with little supervision, paying close attention to detail

Proficiency in using IT, including basic spreadsheets and word processing programs

Experience in administration support would be beneficial
