Paying  just under £52K, this innovative customer focussed  Housing Association in Greater Manchester is looking for a Qualified and experienced Finance Business Partner to deliver an effective and efficient Finance Business Partnering Service. THE JOB

Reporting to the Head of Finance, as the Finance Business Partner you will lead on the production of financial management reporting, annual budget and monthly re-forecast. You will provide robust financial support and information to the business, creating a culture of openness and collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead on annual Budget preparation for your business area, working with and supporting the business to understand their cost areas
  • Enable budget holders to build a relevant and reflective budget, with a focus on value for money
  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting, ensuring all month-end activities are completed on time and with a high level of accuracy
  • Review and analyse spend and budget variances
  • Produce monthly re-forecast, and work with the budget holders and the wider business
  • Produce monthly financial management reporting
  • Managing and mentoring 1-2 assistants

 THE PERSON

  • You will be an experienced Finance Business Partner ideally with a recognised CCAB qualification (qualified by experience will also be considered), with financial and management accounting experience
  • You must be able to communicate clearly and build effective relationships, explaining complex financial matters to non-financial colleagues and raising financial understanding
  • You will have a collaborative approach, able to see the bigger picture and assess the impact on the broader business
  • With a continuous improvement mindset, you will proactively identify problems and design innovative solutions
  • You will need strong financial modelling and Excel skills, and an understanding of statutory and regulatory frameworks
