THE JOB
Your responsibilities will include;
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives
- Provide expert advice and support on employment law, policies, and procedures
- Support managers with workforce planning, recruitment, on-boarding, and employee development
- Handle employee relations issues, ensuring swift, fair, and compliant resolutions
- Contribute to organisational change initiatives and continuous improvement
- Maintain HR administration and data management with accuracy and confidentiality
- Promote employee engagement and well-being initiatives within the organisation
THE PERSON
- Proven experience as an HR Generalist with a strong background in the engineering sector
- Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience working in a small team environment, demonstrating flexibility and initiative
- HR qualification (e.g. CIPD Level 5 or above) is preferred but is not essential
