Paying between £175 - £250 (dep PAYE/Umbr), with Hybrid & WFH options, with Manchester-based offices. This is a 3-4 month+ interim contract for an experienced Finance Business Partner with experience in Asset management.
THE JOB
Partnering the Asset Management Team ensuring major repairs expenditure is budgeted, forecast and reported on accurately. Lead maintenance, reconciliation and reporting of the Group’s asset registers, and partner the Assets Team in asset performance evaluation to enhance financial understanding.
Key responsibilities:
- Financial budgeting, forecasting and reporting for major repairs expenditure, ensuring the accurate maintenance of the fixed asset registers and implementation of asset accounting in accordance with Accounting Standards and Group policies
- Maintenance and development of the Group’s Long term Financial Plans, undertaking financial scenario modelling and conducting stress testing scenarios to deliver robust financial plans and audit trails
- Ensure the reconciliation of the Group’s stock accounting for all RTB/RTA disposals, ensuring all grant and proceeds is accounted for as well as any additions for the security database to be maintained
- Work collaboratively with other team members, showing an appreciation of any interdependencies to ensure that team deadlines met
THE PERSON
- You will be an experienced accountant with strong budgeting and forecasting experience, alongside a working knowledge of Assets
- Qualified or Qualified by experience are equally valued, with relevant practical experience
- Available to start at short notice
