Interim Management Accountant | Hybrid /Manchester | Housing Sector | Interim Contract
We are supporting a reputable housing organisation to appoint an Interim Management Accountant to support their finance team during a busy period. This is a hands-on role working closely with budget holders across key service areas, delivering accurate and insightful financial information.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce monthly management accounts across multiple cost centres
- Prepare and post accruals and prepayments
- Review financial performance and variances with budget holders
- Support the delivery of full-year forecasts and financial planning
- Provide clear and concise commentary for the Statement of Comprehensive Income
- Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Support VAT preparation
About You
- Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience within the housing sector (ideally)
- Strong management accounting background with the ability to work independently
- Confident communicator with experience working with non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills
