Our client, a well-established and values-driven housing organisation, is seeking an experienced Interim Senior Finance Manager to support the Director of Finance during a period of transition and transformation. This is a hands-on role leading core financial operations while driving process improvement, assurance, and compliance. The role is 50/50 Hybrid with an expectation of 2-3 days in lovely, well-appointed offices, based in Greater Manchester.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Leadership: Support the Finance Director to lead day-to-day financial operations and ensure accuracy and efficiency in all processes
- Statutory Reporting: Oversee statutory reporting, internal and external audit preparation, and financial compliance
- Operational Oversight: Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes across the organisation
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure adherence to statutory regulations and implement effective risk management frameworks.
- Tax and Treasury: Oversee tax compliance, including VAT, PAYE, and Corporation Tax, and manage treasury operations
About You:
- Qualifications: CCAB-qualified accountant with a proven track record in financial leadership.
- Expertise: Track record in managing financial operations, reporting, and assurance in regulated environments
- Skills: Excellent communicator and natural mentoring and leadership abilities.
- Attributes: Proactive and results-driven, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
