Service Charge Specialist – Hybrid or can be Mostly Remote – 6-Month+ FTC or Daily Rate
An exciting project opportunity has arisen with a recently merged medium-sized housing association seeking an experienced Service Charge Specialist to lead a key transformation project post-merger.
The Role:
As part of a transformation programme, you’ll:
- Conduct a comprehensive review of existing and future service charges
- Develop a robust cost-coding structure
- Implement new service charge processes into the system
- Collaborate with Trades and other teams to embed changes effectively
- Support service charge statement preparation for 2024/25
You Bring:
- Strong experience in service charge accounting, ideally within social housing
- Advanced Excel skills and keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
- A professional accounting qualification is desirable but not essential
