£350-£600 Per day (DOE, PAYE & Ltd Co Status)

Paying between £350-600 (depending on if PAYE or PSC Ltd Co. The project can be scoped as outside IR35). We are recruiting for an experienced Interim Systems Accountant for a large education provider based in Lancashire. This is a pivotal role for a systems upgrade and implementation project, with tight deadlines. This is an Interim role of a minimum of 6 months. It is based in Lancashire and will have a mix of on-site and WHF hybrid, due to the nature of the project. 


This is an exciting project role for somebody with proficient knowledge of the Unit4-ERP Agresso product. The role is a focused end-to-end project with the Unit4-ERP Agresso, with a starting focus on process mapping (As Is / To Be), including data purge, upgrade implementation & cloud migrations, and specific module implementations or enhancements.

This will include:

  • Existing process review  - conduct a thorough analysis and requirement gathering of the current systems and existing processes (As Is)
  • Process design - analysing system requirements and proposed business changes (To Be)
  • Manage project stakeholders and business users across all project phases
  • Project planning and systems roadmap
  • Driving the workshops – Supporting application design
  • Doing hands-on product implementation Unit4-ERP Agresso financial modules alongside external consultants
  • Develop and configure the solution in line with partners, especially more complex product aspects
  • Project documentation
  • Conduct user training and UAT
  • Subsequently lead implementations/ projects through to completion
  • Identifying common issues in the system and making system improvement suggestions.
  • Identifying issues after implementation go-live



  • Hands-on experience in the requirement-gathering phase and end-to-end implementation of ERP finance processes
  • Experience in the preparation of project documentation including requirement gathering, solution design documents, UAT scripts, and training material preparations
  • Solid experience with databases, able to amend and resolve issues using SQL
  • Strong time management and stakeholder management skills
  • Self-starter and interested in learning new product knowledge
  • Proven presenter, comfortable meeting all levels of the organisation from user to C-suite
  • Ideally exposure to Unit4 ERP (Business World /Agresso), especially experience of working on finance, payroll, and HR  modules within Unit4 ERP
