Investment Executive – Penrith – Permanent – Mix of home / office work - £50,000 to £60,000 + Bonus and excellent benefits
Are you currently working in corporate banking and looking for a fresh challenge, and would like to work in the beautiful area of Cumbria?
Our client is one of the leading fund manager’s in the North, and due to expansion, and succession planning we are seeking to fill the post of Investment Executive. The role will be responsible for sourcing, appraising and making loan and mezzanine investments into SME’s.
The role of Investment Executive:
- Source and appraise suitable investments
- Develop and maintain links and networks with key business introducers and intermediaries to source suitable investment opportunities
- Maintain and develop technical and industry specific knowledge to ensure best practice and compliance in investment activity
- Conduct robust due diligence when considering investments
- Negotiate terms and conditions relating to legal documentation
- Assess applications for funding and preparing reports for the Senior lending team
- Liaise with the portfolio team post investment, and support as required, to maintain the relationship and aid any additional investments as appropriate
Ideally we are seeking individuals whom have previous experience gained from a commercial or corporate banking, or someone with an accounting background who will consider a new challenge. You will have knowledge of all aspects of debt and mezzanine investments into SME’s or large corporates. It Is essential you possess strong communication and negotiation skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative but as part of a wider team.
