Management Accountant |£45K + study |Rochdale | Onsite | Some Hybrid
We are working with a highly successful and growing manufacturing business currently seeking a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. The Role
As the Management Accountant, you will support the finance function across month-end reporting, forecasting, KPI analysis and business partnering. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and provide key financial insight to support decision-making and continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with month-end accounts, balance sheet reconciliations and query resolution
- Review actual vs budget performance with budget holders
- Produce board reporting and contribute to key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Maintain weekly cashflow forecasting and KPI reporting
- Support payroll data entry and finance facility reconciliations
- Support Credit Control, Purchase Ledger and the wider finance team with day-to-day activities
- Support VAT and HMRC reporting requirements
- Assist with external audit processes
- Get involved in ad hoc project work and process improvement initiatives
About You
We are looking for someone who can bring strong technical ability alongside a proactive and collaborative approach. You will ideally have:
- ACCA / CIMA / ACA part-qualified status, working towards full qualification
- Experience in a busy finance environment
- Strong Excel skills
- Confidence suggesting improvements to finance processes and reporting
