We are excited to be representing a well-established IT and Technology company based in Salford, North West, in their search for a dedicated Permanent Management Accountant. This role is perfect for someone with a solid background in management accounting, especially within the technology sector. As part of a thriving private organisation, you will play a key role in shaping the financial future of the company through accurate forecasting and budgeting. We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can bring their expertise and enthusiasm to this dynamic environment.

  • Assist in preparing consolidated Group Management Accounts and Board Reports for stakeholders inside and outside the business. You’ll help paint the full financial picture
  • Prepare detailed management reports to support decision-making across departments.
  • Oversee and improve forecasting models to ensure accuracy and timely updates.
  • Lead the budgeting process, collaborating with department heads to align financial goals.
  • Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and inform strategic planning.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal policies.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial controls and procedures.
  • Support senior management with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within the IT or Technology sector.
  • Strong background in financial forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate complex financial information effectively to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude, driven to provide insights and proactive solutions.
  • Qualification such as CIMA, ACCA or equivalent would be advantageous.
