Exciting new role!! We have been retained to find a payroll manager for a highly successful international services business in Manchester. This is a pivotal role for the business and the successful applicant will work closely with senior leaders across their various sites to run an efficient, effective payroll service. The main duties will include:
- Manage a medium sized payroll team.
- Supervise payroll on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Offer advice and guidance in the payroll function.
- Ensure correct processes are followed.
- Ensure payroll guidelines are kept up to date.
- Keep up to date on payroll legislations.
- To ensure the ongoing compliance with Real Time Information.
- To conduct internal checks as appropriate for each payroll run.
- Compile data and reports for audit purposes.
- Review staff performance and offer training and guidance.
Person
- Demonstrate a real passion and energy for the delivery of a first class payroll service.
- Experienced payroll leader who is able to motivate and develop staff
- Possess excellent customer service skills, demonstrating a sense of urgency in resolving issues
- Good analytical skills and ability to manage deadlines
- Proficiency on Excel
