Based in Trafford Park, Manchester, our client is a global manufacturing and distribution company that are seeking to find a permanent Quality Control Inspector to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in quality control or quality assurance within a supportive environment.
The role is office-based, working 38hrs per week (including a fully paid lunch break). Full and comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you’re confident and successful in your position.
Typical working hours are 8am – 4.45pm Mon – Thurs and 8am – 1pm on Fridays.
THE JOB
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting visual inspections and measurements to ensure products meet quality standards
- Following established inspection procedures and documentation protocols
- Identifying, documenting, and escalating quality issues or non-conformities
- Assisting in implementing continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborating with production teams to resolve quality concerns effectively
- Maintaining accurate quality records and prepare inspection reports
- Participating in calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment
- Supporting internal audits and complying with health and safety regulations
THE PERSON
Essential Requirements:
- Attention to detail with a methodical approach to work
- Good organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Proactive attitude with a keen eye for precision
Desirable Requirements:
- Previous experience as a QC Inspector or QA Inspector
- Basic understanding of quality standards and manufacturing processes
