Are you a confident communicator with a passion for delivering great customer service?
Our Rochdale-based client is seeking a Temporary Customer Service Agent to support their team during a busy summer period (circa 3 month). This role offers a flexible hybrid working pattern, free parking, and a welcoming team environment.
This role offers an immediate start.
THE JOB
What you’ll be doing:
- Handling customer enquiries across multiple channels – via phone, email, live chat, and online marketplaces (Amazon, eBay, TikTok)
- Processing orders, returns, payments, warranty claims, and replacements accurately and efficiently
- Tracking deliveries and managing parcel investigations and courier claims
- Resolving issues within agreed timeframes, ensuring clear communication and customer satisfaction throughout
- Maintaining accurate records and providing follow-up support where needed
THE PERSON
What we’re looking for:
- At least 1 year of experience in online customer service, ideally in a contact centre or e-commerce environment
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
- Comfortable using CRM tools and familiar with online platforms such as Amazon, eBay, and TikTok
- Calm and patient when handling challenging situations
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Flexible and dependable, with a willingness to cover additional shifts if required
