<p>This is far more than a traditional Head of Finance position. As Deputy CFO, you&#39;ll play a pivotal role in driving the Trust&#39;s continued success, leading financial planning, reporting and business partnering across one of the region&#39;s fastest-growing academy trusts. With up to 10 schools joining each year, you&#39;ll help deliver the Trust&#39;s financial strategy, support expansion and enhance organisational performance, ensuring the Trust remains financially strong and well-positioned for the future</p>

<p>Working within a collaborative finance team, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for managing the purchase ledger process, ensuring invoices, payments and reconciliations are processed accurately and efficiently, whilst supporting with wider finance activities across the department.</p>

<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p>

	<li>Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and in a timely manner</li>
	<li>Managing supplier accounts and handling supplier queries</li>
	<li>Preparing supplier payment runs</li>
	<li>Reconciling supplier statements and bank accounts</li>
	<li>Supporting month-end processes and reporting</li>
	<li>Assisting with continuous improvement and automation within the purchase ledger function</li>
	<li>Working with multi-currency accounts</li>
</ul>

	<li>12 months + experience within an accounts payable role is essential</li>

	<li>Comfortable using Excel and finance systems</li>
