Based across the Northwest, our client is an award-winning, large independent practice that is seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to become part of their audit and accounts advisory team in Lancashire. Working as part of a large team, this firm can offer an exciting and varied role to an enthusiastic and ambitious accounting professional.
THE JOB:
As Audit & Accounting Senior you will report to the Audit Manager and Partners.
The main responsibilities will include:
- To lead audit assignments.
- To understand and review corporate tax computations.
- To control the production of accounts.
- To work on special projects with corporate finance and the tax teams.
- To actively support other members of the Audit & Accounting Advisory team.
- To build strong client relationships.
- To train and develop more junior members of the team.
THE PERSON:
To be considered for this position of Audit & Accounting Senior you must be ACCA/ACA qualified, or part qualified with a strong accounting and audit background, and you must have previously managed or supervised a team. You will need to be passionate about providing great client service and keen to play an active role in a dynamic team, contributing to the success of both the team and the firm. You will need a resilient approach, be able to work under pressure, and have good problem-solving ability. The ideal applicant will have good organisational skills as well as the ability to take initiative and contribute to the effective running of the department.
