Finance Business Partner (Homes) – Kendal – Permanent - £39,340 + Benefits + Hybrid and agile working
We are delighted to be working with South Lakes Housing based in Kendal, Cumbria. An independent, not for profit housing association, they are the largest provider of affordable rented properties in South Lakeland and we are seeking a Finance Business Partner to work collaboratively with the Homes Directorates.
Your role will :
- Prepare and present accurate and timely management and financial forecasts in respect of major repairs and responsive and programmed repairs.
- Prepare annual budgets.
- Prepare annual budgets for fixed assets.
- Provide cash flow information and forecasts.
- Provide high quality financial analysis, support, challenge and give advice to the Major Repairs and Responsive Repairs teams on budgetary control, financial forecasts and identify areas where financial performance can be improved.
- Complete financial control reconciliations for the Group.
- Plan and prepare the financial statements ready for the external audit.
- Prepare the Group’s VAT return (training will be given)
This will be a varied role with interaction with a number of key areas in the organisation. The ability to work with, and collaborate with non financial stakeholders is essential coupled with your ability to analyse large amounts of data.
