Paying c£40k, with remote & flexible working, this well-established housing association in North Manchester is looking for an experienced management accountant to join and enhance their team as a Finance Business Partner.
THE ROLE
The Finance Business Partner's role is to provide a full management accounting service to budget holders including budget preparation, monitoring, and forecasting. You will work collaboratively as a trusted partner providing financial expertise to ensure that the best finance and business decisions can be made.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide insightful analysis and support
- Lead the forecast and budget process,
- Report, analyse, and explain monthly performance
- Provide support in key management meetings
- Have input into the financial decision-making and provide financial training to key stakeholders outside the finance function
- Work cross-functionally with business partners, colleagues, senior managers and directors to enable strategic decision
- Monitor the external environment and advise on key risks and variables that could impact service areas and/or the organisation as a whole
- Embed a culture of continuous improvement
THE PERSON
- You will ideally be a fully qualified accountant, but experience is equally as valuable.
- You must have experience of preparing monitoring and forecasting of budgets
- You will have strong communication and influencing skills to enable you to partner the operational budget holders
- You will have strong systems and excel skills, with an eye for continuous improvement
