THE ROLE:
As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial in leading the finance team, overseeing the day-to-day accounting functions of the hotel, and providing financial leadership to ensure the success of our business. You will, manage the hotel's day-to-day accounting function, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Standard Operating Procedure.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Monitoring sales, and profit projections
- Maintain a strong accounting and operational control environment
- Prepare and analyse financial report budgeting/forecasting, and audit and control activities
- Reconcile balance sheets, ensuring account balances are current and supported by appropriate documentation
- Facilitate P&L critique meetings to review results with the management team
- Manage internal, external, and regulatory audit processes, ensuring compliance
- Effectively lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department
- Experience in coaching and developing team members, driving sales, and delivering financial results
ABOUT YOU:
- CIMA qualified or a suitable equivalent.
- Proven track record in a similar role within hospitality
- Attention to detail and a positive outlook and a strong customer focus
- Advanced Excel skills, experience of integrating accounting package
