The Role
- Team Management
- Develop and manage financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct thorough financial analysis to provide insights and recommendations to board
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, and identify variances and their causes.
- Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations in financial reporting.
- Cash Flow Management:
- Oversee cash flow planning.
- Supervise finance operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable.
- Timely and accurate completion of month-end and year-end close processes.
THE PERSON
- Ideally qualified with experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) However QBE will be considered
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within a similar environment.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to precision and integrity in financial reporting.
- Effective communication with the ability to foster collaboration across departments and cultivate robust relationships.
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement and a readiness to tackle fresh challenges.
