Paying circa £65K plus excellent benefits, this Senior Finance Manager role has been created to ensure the provision of accurate and timely financial information. This includes the annual statutory accounts, cashflow forecasting and business planning for this Manchester-based Social Housing provider.
THE ROLE
This is a technical Finance Manager role, but requires a business partner outlook as it combines responsibility for the group Statutory reporting along with supporting the Development finance, as the organisation embarks on the next phase of building and regeneration projects.
Core responsibilities:
- Responsible for the annual statutory accounts and the annual audit
- Ensure compliance with all financial and regulatory requirements
- Preparation of the cash flow forcast to ensure efficient cash management
- Provision of financial management information for the Development Team
- Financial and investment appraisal
- Contribute to the budget setting, and the annual business plan
THE PERSON
- You must be a fully qualified accountant (CCAB) with substantial experience in financial reporting
- You will have excellent communication skills to partner the operations and manage small teams
- Social Housing experience is desirable but not essential
