The Role
- Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary, to provide insights into financial performance.
- Detailed Analysis of Payroll, travel and expenses for multiple sites
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
- Analyse financial data and trends to identify opportunities
- Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor departmental budgets and performance metrics.
- Provide financial insights and analysis to support decision-making by senior management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
THE PERSON
- Ideally part qualified with experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Demonstrated experience (3+ years) in financial accounting and reporting, preferably within a similar environment.
- Proficiency in financial systems and software and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
- Attention to detail with a commitment to precision and integrity in financial reporting.
- Effective communication with the ability to foster collaboration across departments and cultivate robust relationships.
- Proactive approach to continuous improvement and a readiness to tackle fresh challenges.
