Head of Treasury (Property) – Liverpool or London – Hybrid working - £72,098 to £79,688 + A range of benefits

Our client is one of the largest housing associations in the country and we are seeking to fill the role of Treasury Manager (Property). This post plays an integral role within a highly regarded treasury team and is responsible for leading all the property related aspects of managing the Group’s Treasury portfolio. You will be responsible for all aspects of the compliance relating to property related covenants whilst ensuring the most efficient use of the Group’s property assets to act as security for existing and future funding.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead the relationships with stakeholders important for property charging
  • Set the strategy for the best use of Group assets from a Treasury property perspective
  • Oversee all property charging projects which will be led by the Group Securitisation Manager
  • Be responsible for ensuring that internal property records are accurate and maintained with regards to charged and unencumbered properties and any compliance requirements are met for all security pools and lenders
  • Be responsible for managing , motivating and supporting a team of 5
  • Design and set in conjunction with the Director of Treasury and Corporate Finance, the strategy for managing actual and potential future security assets within the Group as effectively as possible
  • Ensuring that all asset covenant requirements of the Group’s finance agreements are met, including that all compliance certificates and or/valuations as required are produced and delivered to lenders on time
  • Review and submit high quality reporting to meet the needs of internal stakeholders with regards to security analysis , reconciliation and future forecasting.

The Person :

The role would suit someone whom has worked in a treasury role in a housing association or large organisation, where you will have gained knowledge and practical experience of property charging or relevant experience. It is essential you possess strong leadership and communication skills, coupled with the ability to work with large of amounts of data and have great attention to detail. Results driven, you will have the ability to approach situations with a flexible and adaptable approach, and can balance tact and diplomacy with a direct and assertive approach where appropriate.
