A highly regarded financial services organisation based in Ramsbottom are looking for a HR Manager to join their expanding team. This is a permanent job opportunity that will be office based. The office hours are 9am-5pm Monday to Friday, but the company does offer flexi time so there can be some flexibility with the start and finish times.


Reporting to the company Directors as HR Manager you will be responsible for completing all HR tasks within the business and ensuring the smooth running of the HR processes on a day-to-day basis.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • All recruitment, including advertising, liaising with agencies, arranging interviews, and supporting the hiring manager with interviews.
  • Preparing new starter documents, contracts, and conducting new starter inductions.
  • Monitoring and authorising staff absences and holidays.
  • Completing all investigations and disciplinaries and managing any employee grievances.
  • Ensuring that all employment documents are up to date and comply with HR guidance.
  • Providing HR advice to employees and Directors.
  • Preparing all HR communications to employees and leading the company wellbeing programme.
  • Overseeing the performance management and appraisal process and arranging all probation reviews.
  • Arranging training for the office including H&S, first aid, fire marshals and ensuring that all documentation is up to date.
  • Completing all workplace assessments and ordering new IT equipment.
  • Completing all HR administration.


The ideal HR Manager will have previous HR management experience and will be CIPD or ILM qualified. Excellent organisational skills and people skills are required to fulfil this role effectively. You must fully embody the company values and carry out your role demonstrating the company ethos.
