Paying between £250 - £325 per day (PAYE/Umbr) this Interim Treasury & Business Planning Manager role is being recruited on a 3-6 month basis. The job is responsible for delivering a comprehensive business planning and treasury accounting service for this small group of diverse organisations. This is a hybrid role, candidates must be able to work 2-3 days a week in the office (North West).
THE JOB
The Interim Treasury & Business Planning Manager will support the Finance Director in key areas encompassing treasury and cashflow management, business planning and associated stress testing
Key responsibilities:
- Reviewing the long-term business plans against actual performance
- Lead stress testing of the business plan, include the key risks, considering impacts
- Board report writing
- Prepare and review the cashflow and forecasted cash requirements for the Group
- Supporting effective risk management ensuring long term viability
- Ensure compliance with the key covenants
- Providing analysis of financial information to support regulatory returns
THE PERSON
- You will be a fully qualified accountant with a working knowledge within the Not for Profit, Housing or Education sectors
- Understanding of treasury management processes, cash flow, credit control, VAT, and other taxes
- Experience in statutory accounts, financial accounts and financial planning
- An experienced finance manager with the ability to organise and prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines and delegate effectively
- Good communication and presentation skills, with the ability to analyse and explain complex financial information in a clear way at all levels
