Paying up to £50K / Day Rate equivalent (DOE), we are looking for an experienced Management Accountant who wants a hands-on role with a business partnering feel. The role includes the full spectrum from balance sheet reconciliation to budget setting. This is an interim role, envisaged to be between 4-6 month..
THE ROLE
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Management Accountant roles core purpose is to produce the monthly management and management information, providing accurate and relevant reporting information to aid decision-making.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the production of monthly management accounts, forecasts, and cash flow forecast
- Balance sheet reconciliations and a thorough understanding of the statement of comprehensive income
- Budget setting, monitoring, and reporting with key stakeholders
- Continuous improvement of operational finance systems and processes
- Support in the production of year-end accounts
- Leading on Business Partnering activity to key stakeholders
- Financial input and support for any projects
THE PERSON
- You will be an experienced management accountant with experience in balance sheet reconciliations and budget setting
- Strong Excel skills are key, alongside experience working on accounting packages
- An effective communicator, with the natural ability to work with non-finance budget holders
