Based in Manchester, our client is a global software company that require an Office Manager & PA to join the team due to continued success and growth. Based in modern offices with easy access to all the public transport links in Manchester, they offer a contemporary working environment with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

THE ROLE:

As Office Manager & PA you will report to the Managing Director and your role will be pivotal to the smooth running of the office. The business is growing quickly here in the UK, therefore as Office Manager you will be involved in embedding new systems, processes, and policies.

Your main responsibilities as Office Manager & PA will include:

  • Leading the implementation and rollout of new software to improve efficiency in the business and HR administration
  • Running the HR system, ensuring that all HR paperwork and policies are being followed, whilst working with their external HR provider
  • Managing the Managing Directors diary and supporting them with business, sales, and client relationship management
  • Working with the marketing team to support the organisation and logistics of company events
  • Running the procurement process and managing the expense claims
  • Being a key person in the social and wellbeing committee, tasked with team building and supporting charities
  • Liaising with members of the wider global office management and HR functions to collaborate and also share best practice

THE PERSON:

You will need:

  • Experience in Managing an office along with PA skills (minimum 2 years plus in a similar role)
  • Experience in project managing the implementation of office-based software including the roll out to end users and training
  • Experience in HR administration (ideally qualified to CIPD level 3), and or 2 year’s experience in a similar role
  • Experience in providing administration support to the Managing Director and the wider business leaders
  • Experience of working in a scale-up organisation which is transforming and growing is desirable
