Our client is an ambitious, forward-thinking global business who build transformative solutions, providing their clients with a range of products and services to meet their needs. Based in Crewe, this is an office-based job opportunity working Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Head of Business Partnering, the role of Pricing Manager is a critical role within this business. You will be responsible for developing and executing pricing strategies in alignment with the market and business plans.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a small team of analysts 
  • Ensuring the accurate application of pricing into the portfolio
  • Forecasting performance of current and future periods to the closest accuracy
  • Understanding the performance versus expectation and explaining variances
  • Leading regular calls to discuss strategy with senior stakeholders, comparing performance to prior forecasts
  • Maintaining and evolving pricing process, in line with policies
  • Implementing ideas to improve performance of the portfolio

THE PERSON:

The ideal applicant will be an experienced Analyst (either financial or commercial) that is already managing a small team of analysts or is ready to take the next step in their career to manage a team. We are looking for a confident and ambitious candidate that wants to join a forward-thinking business that can offer genuine progression opportunities.

Other key skills required:

  • Aptitude for figures
  • High attention to detail and confident in creating and maintaining checks
  • Ability to manage the team members workload and prioritise tasks from stakeholders
  • Take ownership over the completion of all pricing
  • Ensure adequate cover/planning is in place to complete deadlines, including seasonal holidays
  • Managing stakeholders’ effectively
  • Comfortable in delivering presentations to a range of audiences
