Project Accountant - £40,000 to £47,000 + Excellent benefits, Preston (3 days in the office / 2 days at home)
Our client is a large not for profit organisation, and we are seeking an experienced project accountant to join a highly regarded and service driven finance team.
Working as part of the Management Accounts Team you will be the conduit between the Finance Business Partner’s and management accountants to supply a standardised reporting and analysis to both financial and non-financial managers and play an active role in the roll out of Power BI.
The Role :
- Oversee the production of management accounts
- Supervise the production of annual and profiled budgets for all cost centres based on assumptions agreed by the Business Partners with budget holders
- Oversee the production of year forecasts based on methodologies agreed with business partners
- Manage the workload of the management accounting team including ad-hoc requests for information and reports
- Ensure all processes and procedures are documented
- Provide support to the FP&A to assist with the continued development of quality management information (the roll out of Power BI)
The Person :
- You will be an active studier committed to becoming a fully qualified accountant
- Experience of Power BI would be an advantage
- Exceptional IT skills are required
- The ability to work as part of a committed team
