Based in Ashton, North Manchester, our client is a successful Professional Services Firm with an excellent reputation as a trusted partner to their clients and their involvement in the local community. They are recruiting for an experienced Receptionist & Administrator to join their team. This is an office-based role.
THE JOB
Reporting to the Office Manager, as Receptionist & Administrator you will be situated at the main reception so you will be the first point of contact for all visitors and incoming calls.
As Receptionist & Administrator your responsibilities will include:
- Meeting and greeting visitors in a professional manner
- Ensuring all visitors sign in/out when onsite
- Ensuring all telephone calls are answered timely, professionally and routed via the computer linked telephony system
- Undertaking clerical and administrative duties for members of the firm, including but not limited to distributing and scanning incoming post, dealing with outgoing post, case file and other document archiving and retrieval, ordering and monitoring firm supplies, photocopying duties.
- Coordinating the booking of meeting rooms and the arranging of refreshments
- Checking the meeting rooms to ensure everything in order for the next meeting
- Assisting with other duties to ensure the smooth running of the building and its facilities
THE PERSON
- The ideal applicant will have a high standard of inter-personal and communication skills
- You will have excellent keyboarding skills and be IT literate
- You will be confident when dealing with the public in person and by telephone, a professional and friendly approach is essential
- Prior experience of working as a receptionist with a computer-linked telephony system
