Rents Manager – Liverpool - £44,000 + Benefits and Hybrid working
Our client based in Liverpool is seeking a Rents Manager to oversee a small rents team.
The Role :
Managing a team of six, you will have overall responsibility for managing the annual rent review process, and manging the systems and process improvements relating to rent.
Key accountabilities:
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers and leaseholders
- Ensure compliance with the regulatory rent standard, and rent policy statement
- Ensure efficient and effective rent control processes are in place
- Ensure rent payments are posted accurately
- Ensure rent notification letters are delivered to tenants
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation
- Oversee the monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line with the month end timetable.
- Ensure there are effective written procedures in place
- Lead and co-ordinate the delivery of Finance Partnering Services
The Person :
- A professional accounting qualification will be desirable but not essential.
- Proven experience of working in a rents related role.
- A natural ability to build strong business relationships internally and externally
