My client, an award-winning international service provider, are looking to enhance their commercial finance team with an experienced and ambitious senior finance business partner. The Senior Finance Business Partner will be responsible for driving operational and financial performance of two UK business units, partnering with the Business Unit MDs to drive actions to deliver results.
The Senior Finance Business Partner will lead a small team and play a pivotal role in the senior leadership team. The senior finance business partner will also have the ability to influence at a senior level and recognise opportunities for process improvement/innovation and enhancing service delivery.
This role would suit a qualified finance professional who wants a truly commercial role in a fast-paced industry.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsible for driving both Operational and Financial Performance and the associated supporting functions to deliver both short- and long-term plans and targets.
- Effective understanding of overall business performance, effectively communicating the drivers of performance
- Delivery of reporting to all teams in a timely fashion
- Work collaboratively with key stakeholders ensuring plans are clearly communicated, deliverables are achieved in a timely fashion.
- Drive the development of the team and partner with the CFO and the UK Planning Director to deliver long term strategy.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with several years PQE
- Significant experience of business partnering and driving shareholder value
- Demonstrated senior leadership experience, with the ability to influence at all levels from finance to regional directors.
- An ability to lead and motivate a team to engage and deliver.
- Experience in leading long term business planning and forecasting
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
