A highly regarded Academy Trust based in South Manchester are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support their CEO for 5 weeks. This is a temporary role starting the week commencing the19th of June and will finish on the 21st of July. The job will be hybrid with both office and home working. The ideal working hours will be 8.30am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday but there can be some flexibility with the start and finish times.

THE JOB

As Executive Assistant to the CEO you will provide a highly effective and confidential service to the CEO including diary management, meeting organisation, and dealing with confidential correspondence.

Your detailed duties will include:

  • Acting as the first point of contact for the Chief Executive, using discretion and ensuring that those contacting the Chief Executive are dealt with appropriately and professionally.
  • Overseeing and responding to complaints received by the Chief Executive in line with the Complaints Policy, drafting responses, and keeping records in accordance with the data protection policy.
  • Assisting in the organisation of a range of events on behalf of the Chief Executive, ensuring that effective preparations are made in advance.
  • Acting as a confidential aide to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team, facilitating regular meetings, compiling agendas, providing relevant updates, and following up on any actions.
  • Attending Senior Leadership Team meetings as and when required to report, and facilitate current, and upcoming priorities.
  • Raising requisitions on behalf of the Chief Executive and communicating with suppliers on procurement processes.
  • Reconciling the Chief Executives credit card and expenses in line with procurement procedures.
  • Organising and booking travel and accommodation for the Chief Executive, Senior Leaders as and when required to attend training and networking events as directed by the Chief Executive.
  • Writing, formatting, and proof- reading reports guided by the Chief Executive.

THE PERSON

This job will suit an experienced Executive Assistant that has previously supported a CEO or C-Suite team. You will need outstanding organisational, verbal, and written communication skills. You must be able to prioritise effectively and manage different work streams simultaneously.
