Treasury Manager – Preston – c£60k + Bonus + Benefits + Hybrid working
Our client is a large not for profit organisation that improves the lives of many and we are seeking to fill the role of Treasury Manager to join a highly effective and successful treasury Team.
THE ROLE :
Your role will develop the provision of operational treasury by reviewing and improving the efficiency and effectiveness whilst providing a reporting and advisory service to the Group in the area of treasury management.
- Manage treasury contribution to the annual report preparation.
- Support the Treasury Accountant with the preparation of the financial reports and associated notes in accordance with IFRS102.
- Ensure accurate and timely input into the management accounts.
- Support the Treasury Accountant with the annual Treasury budget setting.
- Monitor actual to forecast movements on interest payable and interest receivable.
- Ensure the periodic monitoring of covenants.
- Review Guarantor group management accounts.
- Ensure reliable controls are in place to safeguard the treasury related financial position.
- Manage the day to day group treasury operations (cash management, facility drawdowns, intercompany funding, minimising external borrowing and interest expense)
THE PERSON :
You will have strong people management and have a relevant professional qualification – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or ACT. You must be self motivated along with the ability to be able to communicate effectively either written or verbal ad be able to analyse large amounts of data.
